Every Roots Pet pouch is printed with its batch's lot number. Here is how each batch is sourced, made and tested before it reaches you.

  1. The whole chew is 100% human-grade

    Ingredient quality
    All ingredients are tested for purity. Actives are standardized to set amounts, sourced as branded ingredients and, where relevant, bound to phospholipids.
    Genetic modification
    Non-GMO ingredients.
    Artificial additives
    No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
    Preserved with
    Natural vitamin E and organic rosemary extract.
    Flavored with
    Natural flavors from beef liver, bone broth and brewer's yeast.
    Allergens
    May contain traces of wheat (from brewer's yeast) and soy (from the phospholipids).

  2. Every ingredient lot arrives with its own supplier certificate

    A certificate of analysis for that one ingredient lot, before it goes into a batch.
    Identity test
    Each ingredient is tested when it arrives to confirm it is the right ingredient.

    Microbial counts
    Total aerobic microbial count. Total combined molds and yeasts count.
    Tested for absence of

    Arsenic, lead, mercury and cadmium.

    Your batch's lot number is printed on your pouch. Send it to us in the chat or at hello@rootspet.com to request your batch's certificate of analysis, which covers the finished chews in your pouch.
